This year's Subaru Loves to Care delivery at Johnson Family Cancer Center served as a heartfelt reminder that patients and families facing cancer are surrounded by a community that cares deeply about their well-being. Through the partnership between My Lakeshore Subaru and Johnson Family Cancer Center, blankets and care items were delivered to bring warmth, comfort, and encouragement to patients receiving treatment. These thoughtful gifts represent much more than a simple delivery—they are a tangible reminder that patients are not alone and that their community is standing beside them every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful to the team at My Lakeshore Subaru for their generosity and dedication to making a difference in the lives of local patients. Their commitment to giving back through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative reflects the compassion and community spirit that help brighten even the most difficult days. The physicians, nurses, and care teams at Johnson Family Cancer Center provide exceptional care and unwavering support to patients and their loved ones throughout every stage of the cancer journey. The Fertility Preservation Foundation is beyond grateful to MY LAKESHORE SUBARU'S SHARE THE LOVE donation of $14000 this year. This marks Lakeshore Subaru"s second year of incredible support. We cannot say thank you enough. Your donation will help us support even more deserving young cancer patients in West Michigan be able to preserve the possibility of a future family after completing their cancer treatments. Medicine has been incredibly successful over the past 25 years in advancing the treatment of many cancers. Fertility preservation is an important piece in providing a holistic and comprehensive treatment of cancer in young women. One of the common comments made by young cancer patients we have helped is how preserving their future fertility gave them courage and determination to battle their cancer. We recently were able to help our youngest patient to date, Olivia, age 14. Olivia successfully had many eggs retrieved and cryopreserved. She is now undergoing treatment for her sarcoma. Speaking to her Mom, she asked me to thank "all the wonderful people who gave so my Olivia and others like her could have this opportunity". A special thank you to Scott and Heidi Campbell and their wonderful team from Lakeshore Subaru. Your incredible support both this year and last year has and will continue to truly change lives just as it did for young Olivia.
Subaru Loves to Care 2026 - Allison D
We are deeply grateful that My Lakeshore Subaru has once again chosen Trinity Health Johnson Family Cancer Center as the recipient of your Subaru Loves to Care program - thank you for your continued generosity. It was wonderful to connect with the My Subaru team on June 17, 2026, and to receive such a thoughtful donation of 80 blankets, 30 care kits, and meaningful messages of hope from your organization and customers. Since 2016, My Lakeshore Subaru has supported 950 cancer patients at Trinity Heath Johnson Family Cancer Center. Thank you again for your ongoing commitment to our mission of service as a compassionate and healing presence within our communities.
AFTD - Subaru Share the Love Event - Jillian S
The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) was honored to be chosen by My Lakeshore Subaru as a Hometown Charity once more for the 2025 Subaru Share the Love event that took place. Scott Campbell of My Lakeshore Subaru of Nunica, MI nominated AFTD because of his personal connection to FTD and history with the GFS Memorial Golf Outing - AFTD's longest running volunteer-led annual event. Scott was inspired by the Sidoris family's commitment to AFTD's mission over the last 20 years and chose to support the mission in his own way. The final donation made from the Subaru Share The Love Event to AFTD's mission totaled $20,000, bringing their 2-year grand total to an amazing $44,650! AFTD is so thankful to Scott and My Lakeshore Subaru for their support and forever grateful to the amazing Sidoris family for their tireless efforts.
Kirk Cousins Football Camp - Dana G
A big thank you to Subaru for serving as the title sponsor of the Kirk Cousins Football Camp and helping make this event possible. More than 200 young athletes participated in two days of learning football, growing in character, and having fun! A special highlight of the camp was the Dad's Lunch, where dads gathered to hear a message that challenged them to embrace the vital role they play in leading their families. Thanks to Subaru's generous partnership and commitment to investing in the next generation, this camp became the highlight of so many kids' summers. Thank you, Subaru!
Subaru Loves the Earth Tree Delivery - Molly G
Over the past two years, My Lakeshore Subaru as distributed 200 trees to be planted. We've brought smiles to our customer's faces, and cleaner air to our lakeshore community. My Lakeshore Subaru is proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation, and contribute to the 165,000 trees distributed nationwide. Each tree to us represents how our environment needs each of us to care, protect, and enjoy it. We feel blessed each and every day to wake up in West Michigan, and we know our My Lakeshore customers feel the same. This is our dealership's way of giving back to our customer's and our planet.
Outback Event - Jan J
Pound Buddies was invited as the special guest during My Lakeshore Subaru's Outback Event. We brought Lark and Levi, two adoptable puppies, to the event in hopes of finding their forever home. My Lakeshore Subaru also accepted donations at their event table for Pound Buddies, which was greatly appreciated! Since 2019, My Subaru has selected Pound Buddies as their community partner for Subaru Loves Pets. With their help, 200+ dogs have been adopted! We've collaborated on many other events together, including joining for their My Lakeshore Subaru Dealership Grand Opening. We greatly appreciate their support of our shelter, and commitment to pets in Muskegon County.
Crockery Township Easter Egg Hunt - Jean C
Crockery Township has a long-standing tradition of hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for the local children. The goal of the event is to bring joy and foster togetherness in our close-knit village. The Easter Egg Hunt is free to attend with the request of bringing canned food items or hygiene products to donate to our community pantry. We look forward to this annual event, and it would not be possible without local businesses like My Lakeshore Subaru. Since My Lakeshore Subaru moved into the neighborhood a year ago, they have sponsored multiple of our community events and donated to our community pantry. We greatly appreciate their support.

Muskegon Rescue Mission is grateful for the continued partnership of My Lakeshore Subaru and their heart for serving our community. In January 2026, their team spent an evening at our Women's and Children's Shelter as part of Subaru's national initiative, Operation Warm. During their visit, they distributed brand-new shoes to the children in our shelter and in the days that followed, children in our daycare program received shoes as well — extending the impact even further across the families we serve. This was a practical gift that carried tremendous meaning for the families we serve. For many of the Families staying at the shelter, navigating daily needs can feel overwhelming. Receiving a new, properly fitting pair of shoes is more than a simple necessity — it provides comfort during the winter season, relieves financial pressure, and reminds each child that they are seen and valued. The excitement and gratitude in the room made it clear that this was more than a donation; it was an investment in confidence and dignity. One of our favorite moments from the evening was a brother and sister who got their new shoes. As soon as they put them on, they started running laps around the room, laughing and beaming. It was such a simple thing, but seeing their excitement and pure joy was unforgettable — a reminder of how much a new pair of shoes can mean to a kid. We are deeply thankful for My Lakeshore Subaru's generosity and willingness to step into the lives of local families in such a tangible way. Through initiatives like Operation Warm, they are helping our children move forward with hope — one step at a time — and strengthening the fabric of our Muskegon community
